About Us
Thomas Jade Sr. the business owner, came to the U.S. as a small boy eager to experience all that the U.S. had to offer. Growing up, he was greatly impressed with what you can achieve with owning your own business.
In 1994 he got a job as a plumber's helper at TDIndustries, a top mechanical company in the Dallas/ FT Worth area. He took advantage of the hands-on training and classes available to him. In a few short years, he had his Journeyman's Plumbing License. And not long after that, received his Master Plumber License. After ten years of plumbing experience at TDidustries, Thomas proved to his employer that he is among the top-ranked plumbers for the company.
In 2005, Thomas decided to break away from his secure job to embark on a journey of owning his own business. His employer was sad to see him go, but continued to encourage him and wished him the best. How did we come up with the company name? Plumbers use a metal cable to clear clogged drain lines which is often referred to as snaking the line. Thomas' favorite snake is a viper and so Viper Plumbing was formed. And yes, it did put us at the end of the alphabet for the old yellow pages phone book! But that didn't stop folks from finding us.
In 2019, we were pleased to have Thomas' oldest son, Thomas Jade Jr. join our company. He worked hard alongside his father learning from the best. In 2024 he left the family business to gain more commerical plumbing experience. And in 2025 he received his Journeyman's Plumbing License. He has plans in the future to rejoin Viper Plumbing to grow the family business and retire his dad.
Since the very first day of opening the doors to Viper Plumbing, Thomas Sr. has taken a lot of pride in his work and has many satisfied customers who refer us to their family and friends.
